Bicester put up a fight after sluggish start.

Cents continued their fine run of form at home with their fourth win in a row against a spirited Bicester side who were promoted into the South West One(East) league this season. This was the first time Bicester had played at the Stade de Bridge and after a sluggish start they gave a good account of themselves.
Cents were quick out the blocks and within the first ten minutes they had scored two unconverted tries through Lewis Cameron and Lewis May.Score line 10-0 to the home side and they way they were playing you would have thought they might have gone on to build a bigger score,However Bicester had other ideas.Once the away side managed to start winning some ball they took the game to Cents had had them defending well for most of the remainder of the first half.Cents defence was outstanding as Bicester threw everything at the home side but could not break them down, however towards the end of the first half Cents managed to secure some ball to run in a third try just before half time. The home side scored their third try through Wayne Mulhern and this was converted by Shay Morgan for an half time lead of 17-0 to Cents.

The main difference between the two sides was that Cents took their try scoring chances and Bicester did not as they missed easy penalty chances that would have kept them closer to the home side.Cents had the elements of a strong wind in the first half and Bicester did in the second half putting the home side under long periods of pressure in the half.Cents defence continued to be top class denying Bicester any
scoring chances apart from a converted try near the start and as the half wore on Cents managed to secure some ball to take the game to the away side.Cents were next to score with about 15 minutes to go when Shay Morgan converted a penalty against the wind to take the score to 20-7 to the home side.Cents sealed a try scoring bonus in the closing stages with an unconverted try by Lewis Cameron(his second) for a final score line of 25-7 to the home side.
Once again Cents were relieved to have got another bonus point win at home although Bicester pushed them all the way and gave a spirited performance.Cents next match is against Chippenham away and I do not know what sort of side will go away as the home side picked up two looking serious injuries to Scott Fritchley and Shay Morgan.Chippenham is a tough place to go to and Cents will need to put out a decent side to compete with them.
