Cents made it three wins on the bounce after winning a highly entertaining match against a lively Stratford upon Avon side making their first ever visit to the Stade de Bridge. This was an enjoyable match to watch as both sides moved the ball around at pace plus it was played in the right spirit by both sides.
Cents had the edge in the first half and were well on top at the interval 24-7 although they had chances to get their bonus point but wasted several chance through wrong options being taken.Although well down at the interval Stratford had numerous try scoring chances themselves but like the home side they could have had a bigger score.
Cents scored three first half tries through Sol Farrer and Lewis May(2) and Shay Morgan converted all the tries plus a penalty.
Cents supporters were looking forward to the home side moving on and securing a try scoring bonus point but despite several chances they were unable to score any further points in the second half.Stratford on the other hand came more into the match and they had the edge in second half containing Cents and then looking for a win themselves. They scored two tries themselves in the second half, one in the last minute of the match to secure a losing bonus point which their performance deserved. The last try was converted for a final score of 24-19 to Cents who knew they had been in a match.
Next week Cents are away at Wimborne and with players now coming back from injury they are beginning to look at fielding a stronger line up for the run in to the end of the season.
