Cents struggled to a win against a useful Keynsham side with a very below par performance.This was perhaps their worst performance of the season although nothing should be taken away from Keynsham who made life difficult for the home side.
Cents struggled with every facet of their game and did not click.The forwards did not gel and subsequently the backs were unable to function as they normally do.
Cents won the match with a try by Rob Pinkney and Liam Hemming converted the try and also landed three penalties.Keynsham scored an unconverted try for a final score line of 16-5 to Old Cents.
Although Cents never looked like loosing this match they were relieved to win the game after such a below par performance.Cents man of the match was young centre Michael Mathers.
Cents will need to up their game for next weeks local derby against a young Matson side who have not lost a match so far this season.
