Cents over come battling Beaconsfield side.

Cents got back to winning ways following last weeks narrow defeat at Banbury with a comfortable defeat of a battling Beaconsfield side.Beaconsfield on their first ever visit to the Stade de Bridge put in a battling display but were over powered by an all action Cents side who ran the ball from everywhere.According to the Beaconsfield website they were missing some key players a situation Cents have been all season and the home side have just come across a more or less settled side over the last few weeks.
Cents powerful running forwards and backs took the game to Beaconsfield who battled throughout to stop the home side from running away with the score.Cents dominated all aspects of play and had their try scoring bonus point by half time when they run in four converted tries with a score line of 28-0 to the home side.Cents had scored their tries through Tim Wilcox(2),Ross Hannaford and Sam Preece with Darragh Mcnamara converting all four tries.
The second half went very much the same way as the first with Cents in total control and Beaconsfield battling to get something out of the match. When Beaconsfield did apply pressure they came up against a strong defence who never gave the away side a chance despite their best efforts.Cents went on to score a further four tries through Ryan Townsend(2),Josh Phillips and Luke Jones with Darragh McNamara completing a faultless kicking display by converting all four tries.Final score 56-5 with Beaconsfield scoring a consolation try at the end,no more than they deserved after being up against it all afternoon.
Cents look to be in fine shape at the moment and will need to stay focused over the coming weeks when they have some big games coming up over the next three weeks. They play Chippenham away,Marlborough at home and Newbury away and how they fare in these games will define how their season ends up.The players will have to show their commitment like they have done over the last few games in order to get something out of these matches.
