Cents secured the play off spot in their league with a powerful display against a Salisbury side who battled well especially in the second half.Cents had secured the win they needed early in the second half with a side showing 5 changes from last week's crucial win at Wotton Bassett.
Cents knew that Salisbury could be a difficult side to beat and treated them accordingly,however the game was won by half time as Cents built up 33-7 lead.Cents had their bonus point and really needed another point to secure the play off spot for a promotion spot. Cents were in total control of the match and at no stage were they in danger of losing the match although Salisbury took the fight to the home side in the second half earning a bonus point for their efforts.
Cents scored 5 first half tries through Lewis May(2),Sol Farrer,George Bvuma and Nathan Stroud with Alex Cox converting four of the tries.In the second half Cents scored a further three tries through Lewis May(2) making 4 in total and Sol Farrer a second with Lewis May converting one of the tries.
All in all a good day at the office for Cents who made the most of their squad in the run in for the promotion spot plus it helped having three of the last four games at home.They won 14 of their last 16 matches and the two they lost were at Champions Newbury and third placed Banbury.
Cents now look forward to the play off match which will be at Launceston provisionally set for Saturday 27th of April.However before that Cents have an NGC Senior Cup semi-final to play against Brockworth at home on Tuesday nigh at the Stade de Bridge.There is still a lot to play for despite the League season ending yesterday.
