Cents travelled to Trowbridge at the weekend and expected a close match as last season the away side won when Trowbridge missed a last minute conversion in front of their posts. However this match was entirely different as Cents swept aside Trowbridge with a feast of attacking rugby that had their supporters dancing with delight.
Trowbridge had no answer to Cents all round attacking display and the home side were constantly on the back foot all match. Cents had the try bonus point secured by half time as they led 36-3 and they scored 5 tries through James Edwards,Rob Winchle,Dan Tyler and Alex Cox(2) with Harry Preece slotting 4 conversions plus a penalty.
Cents continued to dominate the match in the second half and ran in a further 3 tries through Lewis Locke,Sam Pooley and Tim Wilcox with Harry Preece converting two of the tries.Final score 55-3 to Cents.Cents dominated all areas of the match and their handling skills were from the top drawer with Cents supporters saying this was the best they have seen the side play this season.
This coming Saturday the first's play Wimborne at home and like all sides in the league, they are capable of springing a surprise, however Cents should be picking from a fully fit squad with very few injuries at the moment.
