After a four hour bus drive getting stuck in traffic the lads got to Swanage just before kick off and only had a 10 minute warm up.
Whether it was the long trip or just a bad day at the office, Cents could not repeat last weeks performence and with Dave Knight being ruled out at the last minute Cents had to re-shuffle the side.
Cents Captain Pete willetts tried to get the Gloucester side motivated by scoring a wonderful try from 50m out beating 3 defenders and giving Liam Hemming an easy conversion, then winger Rob Jones crossed the line with Hemming converting also. Swanage managed to pull back 3 pts with a single penalty to make the half time score 14-3 to Cents.
The second half wasn't much brighter with numerous errors from both teams, Cents then scored 2 more tries, Liam hemming scored and Rob Jones got his second with Hemming converting his own try. Swanage managed to pull back 10 pts with 2 try's whilst Cents were down to 14 men after fullback Lewis May received a yellow card, his second in back to back games.
Cents Captain Willetts said, " Although this wasn't a great team effort we can be happy getting a win with a bonus point, apart from our pack dominating the scrums I think the rest of the match we can put in a file and close it," next week we face League leaders Swindon who have been getting some big results so we will have to be at our very best to have any chance of getting something from game".
