New signings in fine form!!

Cents travelled to Marlow who have a decent record at home and Cents knew they were in for a tough game.
Marlow started the better with more possession and territory and earned thereselves a penalty out wide which was well converted to take an early 3-0 lead.
Cents started coming back into the game and both sides were trying to run the ball but Cents discipline was letting them down giving away several penalties but luckily for Cents the kicks were missed.
Then the best try of the game came when Liam Hemming made one of his trademark breaks from inside his own half to out pace the defence and score in the corner to give him 11 try's in 11 games and then kicked a fine conversion from the touchline. Score 7-3.
The game carried on closley fought between the two sides with both defences working hard.
Marlow were the next to get on the score sheet when their winger chipped ahead and touched down in the corner to give Marlow an 8-7 lead.
It was short lived though as Cents came back wih a score of their own through winger Rob Jones in the corner.Score 12-8.
Then on the stroke of half time fullback Joe Preece crossed for a try in his first game of the season returning from injury. Half time score 17-8
Then Cents ill discipline gave the young ref no option but to yellow card Ryan Townsend and Ben Slatter for continued offences.
Cents were down to 13 men and defended well for long periods but could not stop Marlow taking advantage of the two extra men and their winger scored a try out wide, the conversion was missed.17-13
Cents were then back to full strengh and made some changes and started to take charge of the game with dominance in the scrum.
Cents then scored a try through prop Sam Preece from a driving maul from a line out to get the bonus point and Cents fitness started to make the difference between the two sides towards the end.22-13.
The last try came from a push over scrum when Ben Slatter touched down and Hemming converted to make the final score 29-13.
This puts us level on points with Bracknell both on 49 points but still in second place due to points difference, but we do have them on our turf in the new year!!
There were some great preformences today from Cents three new signings of Ben Slatter, Ryan Garrot, and man of the match Dan Knapmen who have all had a great start to the season.
