Cents travelled to Swindon in need of a 5 point win to keep on the heels of league leaders Bracnell.
With Swindon having a clean record at their home ground Cents knew they were in for a hard game.
Playing against a strong wind in the first half Cents had to keep hold of the ball as territory was going to be difficult in the conditions.
Although Cents had most of the possession Swindon were first to get on the scoreboard with two penalties in front of the post.

Soon after a lovely break from flyhalf Ryan Townsend took the Cents into Swindons 22 and the ball was spun out wide from a huge pass from Prop Scott Fritchley who found Liam Hemming to score his 15th try of the season, which he converted.

Soon after Cents again feed the ball out wide through simple hands to find Scott Fritchley who put Hooker Nathan Stroud in the corner.
Score 6-12
Cents looked in control at this point and had more of the ball and territory but Swindon never gave up and defended well and had another penalty from their hard work to make it 9-12 at half time.
Second half Cents with the wind at their backs looked confident and took the game to Swindon keeping them pinned in their own half.
Swindon then lost their prop to the bin and the scrums went into uncontested which did not favour the Gloucester team.
In this 10 minute period Cents coach replaced both of his prop for back row players to compensate.
After several driving mauls Nathan Stroud got his second try of the day which was converted by Liam Hemming.

Cents were then looking for a fourth try to get the bonus point but were trying to hard and making small mistakes and giving Swindon chances to get back in the game, they did so with a penalty to close the gap to 12-19
As the clock was ticking closer to the 80 minute mark Cents looked as though they lost any chances of getting their bonus point, a dropped ball over the line by Winger Rob Jones summed the day up but at the last play of the day Cents received a penalty 10m out and choose a scrum, No8 Rich Pinkney picked up and went blind and passed a lofting ball over to Lewis may who scored in the corner to get the valuable 5 points.
Cents have now played all the top teams away and have 4 remaing with 7 to play at home starting wit Windsor next week which is also a Vice Presidents day sponsored by Ryfords.
