This was never going to be an easy match for Fairford who had just lost their Chairman earlier in the week and fair play to the team for playing in trying times for the club. All though the club lost heavily this was not about the result but more about the Fairford team putting in a performance their late chairman would have been proud of and this they did.
Before the game their was a minutes silence in honour of Jonathon (Beamer) Chambers and Cents took the opportunity to pay their own respects with presenting of a small wreath to the Fairford club captain which was appreciated by the visiting team.
The match it self was a one sided affair with Cents running out worthy winners against a side that battled to the very end in a performance worthy of the memory of their late Charman .Cents ran in 9 tries in total through George Bvuma(3), George Bromage(3),Lewis May,Kieran Bevan and Sam Pooley.George Preece kicked 1 conversion and Tom Broady 4 to complete the Cents coring.
Next week Cents seconds make the short trip to Glos Old Boys and they will be playing against a side going well in the league so a strong side will be required to play this match. Cents should be able to pick from a strong squad despite picking up some injuries in the Fairford match. Cents wish Fairford well for the rest of the season and hope they overcome the loss of their influential chairman
