BACKED INTO A CORNER BUT CENTS WILL COME OUT FIGHTING..!!!

With over a dozen players missing for this weeks selection, it has made it impossible to select 3 teams.
Eight of those players played in Cents last game which was the play off match against Camborne.
There's no doubt that this will be a tough start to the season with so many players missing but it has happened before to us and every other rugby club at one time or another.
The positive side to this is that Cents have still been able to pick a strong team for this 1st League game.
Cents front row, the SAS (Scott, Sam & Stroudy)are on the front line with Dale and Pete in the engine room keeps a familiar site.
From there on the team moves to new pastures with Kieron Blackmore and John Huxtable on the flanks after a good run of trail games with new look super fit Rich Pinkney at no8.

Cents have put their faith in James Knight at Scrum half and hope he can have a full season of games this year.
Connor Gwilliam sits in at 10 after moving to Cents from Old Pats half way through last season.
Two new centres of Alex Bailey and Mark Marwood have improved in every game and are looking sharpe
New signing Ollie Locke at fullback makes his debut and young Matt Humphries deserves his spot on the right wing.
Joe Preece is the sole survivor of the backline that finished last season and he has got back to his best and fills the left wing spot.

If Cents can produce the form they did against Birmingham/Solihull then they should be in for an upset as quite rightly they go into this game as underdogs.
This game is a test of Cents strength in depth because as we all know we have a bundle of excellent players to come back and fight for their places.
