I am sad to announce the recent passing of David ‘Snowy’ Whitehead a former player of the Old Crossleyans.
Snowy as he was always affectionately known was one of those players who played for every team from 1st’s to 4th’s during his career, packing down at prop or hooker.
He was a popular character with a dry sharp sense of humour and always had a good tale to tell in the clubhouse.
Our sincerest condolences go to his family.
His funeral will be held at Park Wood on 13th January 2021 at 9.45am.
