After a busy summer on the training pitch, it's been a frustrating period for Gavin Lach's men following the understandable decision by the RFU to delay the start of the 2026/27 season due to the hard grounds up and down the country.

But they will get some much needed playing time under their belts when they take on Regional 2 Anglia side Brentwood in a pre-season friendly on Dartford's all-weather surface on Friday night.

The following day (Saturday, Sept 19th), the Extra 1st XV are in action for the first time when they also play on Dartford Valley's all-weather surface against the host club (kick-off 3pm).
