The club AGM took place on Saturday 22nd June, with a historic first for the club as Gill Pleavin became the first female chair in Oldershaw's history. Gill had the following words to say following her appointment

"I am so proud to become the Chair of Oldershaw. Having been a member of the club and watched rugby for the past 45 years, and also played for the last 9, this will hopefully put me in a great position to represent Oldershaw. It shows how progressive Oldershaw are as a club to appoint a female chair, made more special as it's in the season when our Women's Contact section begin their journey in the league, and our Diamonds touch section celebrate their 10 year anniversary.

It is important that we continue to grow and develop all of our sections as well as strengthening our position within our community"
