Geoff Dennett - RIP

Further sad news unfortunately and the loss of another “Oldershaw old boy”.

It is with great sadness that we have to inform you of Geoff’s passing.

Like many others of his time, he joined the club from Oldershaw Grammar School. Geoff was a strong running and physical centre who, for all his size was quite a gentle and caring soul, and could comfortably carry a wet leather ball in one of his big hands and do “a Jonah Lomu” on would be tacklers.

We extend our condolences to his family, particularly his brother in law Roger “Happy” Harrison (another "Old Boy" over in Western Australia and friends.
