Due to the extreme cold weather this week, Oldfield’s 1st XV home fixture against St Bernadettes Old Boys has, after a pitch inspection, sadly had to be postponed due to the pitches being frozen and unplayable.

The Clubhouse will therefore be open from 6pm for England’s tantalising World Cup quarter-final against reigning champions France and Ali Lane’s 30th Birthday Party.

We are awaiting confirmation on Oldfield’s 2nd XV away fixture at Bristol Harlequins and a pitch inspection has been organised by them for this morning.

We will update everyone as soon as the findings of that inspection are known.

Next Saturday, 17th December will see our teams in action for the last time this year with:

(H) Oldfield 2nd XV vs Midsomer Norton 2nd XV
