Oldham St Annes ARLFC continue the tradition to give their coaches the best available training to help them create better players, atheletes and team players within the St Annes camp. Coaches Rob Hall, Steve Baldwin & David Charles attended the new RFL's CAYPABLE CPD course at Oldham's Whitebank Stadium on the 22nd August delievered by former England International, and RFL's Steve Molloy. The two and half hour course was well attended and proved a worthwhile exercise for everybody involved.
This course will enable the coaches to look at areas where children aged from 6 to 12 need more direction in their body movements, positioning and core skills. By implementing some of the techniques used, it will enable the players to gain an advantage when they reach the Talent Centres, and hopefully Regional and National camps as they get older.

By improving our coaches at St Annes, and with many of them who have coached at higher levels such as Professional, Regional, National and Service Area, it goes to show that Oldham St Annes provide the best level of support in terms of player development.
