3s turned up to bolster Felix's 2s who were at home to Warwick Medics

AEI Rugby could not get a team together for the 3s, which is a pity as the games are usually a good laugh, and winnable. Memorable last season, with Sam Reynolds reffing, reluctantly giving Bodders a try, and Adrian making an impact as a 17 year old new to senior rugby.
Well done to the 1s for the 1st league win of the seaon, and away 22-18 win at Old Coventrians.

With the 2s short and the alternative Saturday afternoon being death by shopping, a number of the 3s turned up to bolster Felix's 2s who were at home to Warwick Medics - Deano, Ollie, Cawail, Woody, Jase, Rod, Simmsy, Alex, Adrian, Sam, and new to the 3s Charles & Timan. With the Medics looking very young , athletic, drilled, we were looking more like The ExpendabOLs 3s.
2s starting line up had Rod, Cawail, Tim, 140 years young between them in the backs. Ollie, Woody from the 3s also starting.

No surprise from a thrown together 2s & 3s, that a well drilled Medics scored 3 well worked tries to go 19-0 up by the break. Felix made lots of changes at half time, so that all would get a game. Whilst the 2s battled well, the Medics went on to score further tries. Final score, 51-0 to the Medics. As we clapped off the Medics looking like an athletic One Direction, it was was clear the some of the veteran 3s were more towards the Rolling Stones …

Next week both 2s & 3s away to Old Laurentians.
