November activities at The Crofts

We’re thrilled to announce that, for the second year running, our club has been named a finalist at the Mirror Group Club Awards 2024! Last year, we proudly took home the title of Community Rugby Club of the Year. This year, we're honoured to see both the Hornets and our Walking Rugby sections shortlisted in three key categories. The awards will take place on 27th November.

Diversity and Inclusivity Club of the Year

Recognition of Community Hero - A special shout-out to Emma Smith for her invaluable contributions to the Hornets section and working alongside Kev on the clubs safeguarding!
This recognition reflects our club’s ongoing commitment to inclusivity, excellence, and community impact. Congratulations to everyone involved, and let's keep up the incredible work!

Farewell to a caravan site legend
After 13 years of dedicated volunteer service managing the caravan site, Dave Drabwell has decided to retire. Over the years, Dave has raised well over £100,000 for the club through the campsite booking in the summer months. This is an incredible amount, and a contribution that has significantly supported the growth and development of Old Leamingtonians. We are immensely grateful for Dave’s hard work, vision, and commitment, which have made the club summer campsite an integral part of our club.

If you’re interested in joining our team as the new Campsite Manager or know someone who might be, please contact me or Mark Edwards via email: oldleamsrfc@gmail.com

Please join us in thanking Dave for his remarkable contribution to the club.
