Old Leamingtonians Colts v Kenilworth Colts

OLs Colts slipped to only their second league loss of the season at home to Kenilworth RFC 12-0 . The weather played its part giving us wet and very cold conditions . Kenilworth adapted best to the conditions by keeping the ball tight and competing hard at every breakdown . This style of play bought about two mistakes from OLs who tried to play a more expansive game . Both tries were in the first half and there was not to be any further scoring in the second half from either team . The teams were fairly evenly matched but Kenilworth wanted it more on the day and ran out worthy winners and take the bragging rights into next season . A bad day at the office for the OLs boys .....of which ,to be fair, there have not been many of in the last two seasons .
