Foots cray V Old Williamsonians

With Old Willy out on a stag do down in the sun shine state of Bournemouth he caught a glimpse of a few famillar faces belonging to this weeks opposition.

It turns out Foots Cray had organised a tour social on what was meant to be a free weekend. However due to the epic rain fall this winter our game with them was called of due to a water logged pitch and was re arranged for this weekend. Not wanting to lose out on their social Foots Cray then tried to pull a fast one on the morning of the game by calling the game off AGAIN due to a water logged pitch!

The tip off from Old Willy however the night before had the Old boys suspicious of their claim and on further inspection found Foots Cray's ground to be in perfect playing condition.

Now we are not an unfair bunch of lads and had Cray come to us with their plight and been a bit more honest about the situation we could of come to some sort of agreement I'm sure. Trying to pull a fast one however left a rather sour taste in our mouths which resulted in the league officals awarding and AWO.
