Old Williamsonians 45 - Faversham 7

The Willies returned to play their first game at the school since Feb 2020 looking to continue their winning start of the season.

The team started well with Ashley Smith scoring under the posts from a well worked scrum move.
Faversham replied by kicking the old boys down the pitch ending with a converted score of their own.

The old boys were back in the lead after Lawrence Chittil dealt well with a high ball and ran the length keeping several Faversham defenders at arms length.

Tom Collins finished the try scoring for the first half to take the score 19-7 at the break.

The second half picked up where the first left off with the Aaron dimmick scoring. Two further tries followed with Tom Little scoring and Lawrence Chittil going over for his 2nd.

Faversham came back into the game keeping hold of the ball for a period, however they were unable to get past a strong Old Williamsonian defensive line.

The game finished with the Old Willies putting the ball through the hands for Sam Green to score in the corner. 45-7

The Old Williamsonians are in action next Saturday 23rd at Foots Cray.
