Their Cup journey has been something really special. After beating Astwood Bank to become Worcestershire champions in the ECB Vitality National Cup, the boys went on to represent the county in the national stages.

Wins against Elstow CC, Oswestry CC and Peterborough Town CC saw Ombersley crowned Midlands Regional Champions and earn a place in the national semi-final, putting them amongst the final four U15 teams in the country. An incredible achievement.

And they weren’t finished there...

Last Sunday, the team headed to New Road for the Worcestershire Hundred League final, where they beat Quatt to complete a brilliant county Cup and League double.

A big thank you to the Worcestershire Cricket Foundation for giving the players from both teams such a memorable experience at New Road.

Most importantly, congratulations to every player who has represented the U15s throughout the season. This has been a real squad achievement, and everyone who has played a part should be enormously proud.

A season to remember for this group. Well done, lads!
