OMTFC 34 Finsbury Park RFC 27

OMTFC Rugby produced an outstanding display to gain a much-needed first win of the 2021-2022 season.

Despite the breezy conditions, it was OMT who dominated both possession and territory in the first half resulting in tries for Tesh Edwards, Joe Isaacs and Jack Capon.

The second half continued in a similar way with tries from Guiseppe Picanza, Paul Smith and Joe Issacs; further demonstrating the dominance of OMT up to the 60-minute mark of the game with a 34-3 lead.

The last quarter of the game was a completely different story as Finsbury Park added pressure to the tiring OMT defence; resulting in four tries and a respectable final scoreline.
