Kye Phillips hit his second goal in two weeks for Sedlescombe Rangers, but it was not enough to secure a point as visitors Orington sealed a very important 2-1 win with an eighty-eighth minute winner. Vic Merrington’s goal gave Orington a first half lead, but when Phillips returned the favour in the second period it looked like a point apiece, until Scott Quested hit a dramatic late winner for the visitors. This victory pushes Orington away from the relegation zone whilst, for Rangers, this fifth odd goal defeat for the season shows that they are not too far away from being a side that could challenge for honours next season.
