We play Vandals next week and that marks the end of the first round of games. Out of the 10 games we have won 3 and lost 7. Of those 7 we can have no complaints at Marist, Hgte and Wetherby. The other 4 (Fax, Ensians, Grovs and Corinths) were all games that we managed to lose having been in front.

I sense a growing sense of confidence in the team and more strength in depth week each week out. New players like, Wray, Burnley and Edgington have come in. Inexperinced players like Lazy and Blackie are getting better every match. Some key players have returned like Denty and Holmes. We have also been lucky with injuries so far.

We keep saying we are a team in transition but now is the time to put the talk and promise into results. Obvioulsy the first priority is to not go down and we prob need 8 wins to do that. Secondly, I challenge us to come in the top 3 in the league on the 2nd half of fixtures. Each week I will keep track of the league based on these fixtures. I think if we are to push for promotion we have to be in the top 3 in the 2nd half of the season.
