Ossett scored a bonus point victory to gain promotion to Yorkshire 3 with a gritty performance in atrocious conditions at Green Park.
Man of the match Tom Rogers was the star of the show with two tries. Pick of the brace being a kick chase by Nathan Lawrence and the resulting pressure seeing Lawrence regain the ball to flick it up for the clean through supporting Rogers. Ryan Fonquerie added his 14th of the season and with winger Will Forest scoring on his debut it was another satisfying day for Ossett. Jack Drury added a penalty and three conversions to complete the story.
This week they have a home double header against Leeds Medics & Dentists and finish their league campaign away to Knaresborough on April 6th.
Meanwhile, the second team game away at Harrogate was cancelled due to the conditions. This week they face Moortown in a top of the table league fixture.
