January

With 2017 only 3 days old and 2016 a memory its time to look forward and see what this year may bring.

The month of January is going to show where we are as a club on the field as in this month we have 3 games and all 3 are important to our league title ambitions. We have 2 teams to face in 3 games and both are title rivals so we will want show the rest of the league we mean our title challenge.

On 7th Jan we Travel to Clayton (postcode BD7 2PD), Clayton won their last fixture at home to Woodhouse and will be wanting to continue their run, and march back up the table. 14th Jan we have a free weekend due to odd number of teams in league.

21st we are on the road again this time we travel to Huddersfield and play Newsome Panthers (postcode HD4 6JN), who will be gunning for revenge as in their last fixture they lost to us 28-22 on 3rd Dec. 28th Jan sees the return fixture of Clayton rolling into Ossett, Coach Hagger will be looking for a minimum of 2 wins in Jan to see our title ambitions on track.

The next fixture out at the moment is 4th Feb with Woodhouse Warriors coming to Tiger Park.

So with 4 very winnable games approaching this winter season is looking good, however to quote Stevo "this is rugby league its completely unpredictable", But Tigers fans this is why we love the game. It would be great to see you at the home games, However it will be fantastic to see you at away games cheering us on.

As always Up The Tigers
