A chilly start to the New Year

The New year brought a chill to the Savannah as Yarnbury brought a squad of twelve over t'hill. We got five games in with some tightly fought matches with Yarnbury taking home the bragging rights to the Aire valley.

The weather did not help as the Zebras lost some players to the cold and some lost their focus in the heat of the action.

In contrast in two games we were excellent and Andy was delighted with the teams performance. Well done guys.

Your correspondent's highlight was the return of Theo, who came back after some time out. Welcome back, it was great to see you.
