Otley beat West Park

Playing at the Wharfe Meadows pitch, Otley kick off, the visitors keen to put Otley on the back foot & attack, the ball is soon in the home teams hands, Nico makes a good run but is tackled, ball out to Joe Pearson, into a maul then scrum to the visitors. Great scrum from Otley after a reset out to the Zebras backs, West Park are soon making tackles stopping the ball going along the line. The Zebras attack again but West Parks defence is second to none, tackle after tackle, after a couple of mistakes from the home team a penalty is award for handling in the ruck by the zebras, not retreating 10 metres quick enough.The attack from West Park is stopped by some excellent tackling from Waddie & Frank, the ball is soon being passed along Otleys line, Nico scores 5 - 0.
Some excellent forward play Ed King into a maul then Harry Green into a maul, then to Josh who flicks players out of the way he scores , Murph converts 12-0.
A couple more handling issues, but the ball is back into Otleys hands out to Joe Gardner`s hands he scores 17 -0.
After the half time ball into Joe Gardners hands he scores 22-0.
Ball into West Parks hands their forwards drive forward the ball is out to their backs, after a missed tackle West Park scores & converts 22-7.
Ball along Otleys backs Luke Punton drives forward then passes to Frank he drives through several missed tackles to score Luke P converts 29 - 7. After the kick more attacking from the Zebras, to the backs Luke P finds a hole in the visitors defence & scores 37 - 7 final score.
