Job Description:
The Welsh Rugby Union Group is seeking to appoint a Regional Rugby Manager in the Scarlets Region. The successful candidate will be responible for leading and managing a team of Rugby Coordinators ensuring that they are appropriately skilled and motivated and have effective KPI's established, monitored and appraised, which maximize habitual participation in rugby in schools and clubs.

Interviews are to take place at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff in early July.

Job Description:
The Welsh Rugby Union Group is seeking to appoint Regional Rugby Co-ordinators who will be responsible for facilitating and managing programmes of work that will maximise habitual participation in rugby at schools and clubs with a specific focus on the recruitment and retention of players into senior rugby.

The positions will be located in the following rugby regions:
· North Wales x 2
· Scarlets x 2
· Blues x 1
· Dragons x 1

Interviews are to take place at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff on Wednesday 17, Thursday 18 and Friday 19 June.

You will be responsible for the Senior National Squad XV and VII's, Age Grade, Regional and Development squads as well as the recruitment and development of regional support coaches. You must be able to develop successful high performing team environments with a proven record of building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Head Coach and leading a successful performance programme.

Job Description:
The Welsh Rugby Union Group is seeking to appoint a Sales Officer who will be responsible for generating sales of various match day and non-match day products and services. This will include conferences, dinners, meetings, corporate Christmas parties, as well as bespoke events. Effective sales processes, database management and client management will be a key part of the role along with delivering the highest standard of customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 3 years' experience in the Sales and Marketing sector, preferably from a conference and events or sport background.

Background

The WRU represents the whole of Welsh rugby, from the international and professional level through to the vitally important community game which forms the beating heart of the sport across the length and breadth of Wales.

In recent years we have enjoyed international success on the field, while our commercial standing has been consolidated with increased levels of turnover, sustained financial security and control of corporate debt.

The national team is in great shape, the Millennium Stadium enjoys an international reputation as a major venue for sport and concerts, while the WRU is now focusing much needed attention on the grassroots level of rugby.

Key Responsibilities
This position will be of interest to candidates who embrace complex challenges and who have the strategic and team skills to work closely with senior colleagues, the wider rugby community and key stakeholders to collectively drive the business forward. Skills & Experience Required

Essential:
Ideal candidates will be individuals of considerable influencing skills and authority whose qualities include:

Strong communication and team management skills;
International outlook;
A good track record of achievement in their career to date and with a proven ability to deliver;
Well-honed diplomatic and political skills in dealing with clubs and regions domestically, and other unions and World Rugby on the international stage;
An understanding of the vital part played by the clubs at grass roots level. They represent the lifeblood of the game;
Credibility in the sport and an ability to demonstrate that they possess the requisite skills to ensure the game in Wales can move forward in unison;
An awareness of the issues that confront the game from the bottom-up;
Build and maintain positive relationships with partners in the Six Nations and with World Rugby, and the part Wales plays in the delicate ecosystem of international rugby.
