Oxford Rugby League will hold an open trial for prospective players on 21 October, ahead of joining Championship One in 2013. REGISTER ONLINE TODAY.


Oxford Rugby League are to hold open trials on the morning of Sunday, 21 October, in preparation for their entry into Rugby League’s semi-professional Championship One competition in March 2013.

The trial will begin at 09.30 and takes place prior to the annual Oxford Cavaliers v Oxford University 'Town & Gown' game at: Oxford Rugby Club, End of North Hinksey Lane, North Hinksey Village, Oxford OX2 ONA. The day will be overseen by Head Coach of Oxford Rugby League, Tony Benson and Oxford Cavaliers Head Coach Tevita Vaikona.

  • The trial is open to all players aged 16 and over
  • Rugby League experience is NOT essential
  • Interested players should refer to the schedule below for exact timings, and be sure to arrive promptly.
