Baker, who impressed during the 2017 season playing in the London Youth League, was selected to represent Oxford in the London Origin Series on the back of his performances for the Cavaliers who were playing up a year as an under 15’s squad in an Under 16’s league. Jamie Whitwell (U16’s) and Ollie Booth (U17’s) also represented Oxford in the Origin Series and whilst they impressed they failed to get the call up. With teammates Cameron Scott and Euan Stamp already involved in the set up from the previous season it will be nice for Sean to link up with some familiar faces and get back at it. Under 16’s coach John Connaughton said ‘I have been really impressed with Sean since he joined us two seasons ago, he has a great work ethic, takes on board everything coaches say and has that drive to succeed and better himself. He is a very talented athlete and I have no doubt that if he so wishes he can go as far as he wants to in the game’. All at Cavaliers would like to wish the 3 lads the best of luck and hopefully they can experience plenty of game time in the fixtures they have coming up.
