The clubhouse will reopen this Thursday Night!

Tompkins Park Community & Recreational Association Inc is about to re open in a limited capacity. We will be able to have 100 persons inside the river room and 100 on the concourse. Under the covid 19 restrictions that TPCRA have to work with, everyone will need to be seated to consume alcohol. You will also be required to submit your name and details for tracing purposes under government regulations.

Over the coming months Tompkins Park will be given a make over. The new and improved Tompkins Park will be more of a Sports Bar that you and your family are able to attend outside of rugby times as well. At this stage it is planned to be open Wednesday through to Sunday for lunch and dinner. And breakfast on the weekend. We will be actively marketing to the residents in the area also to become social members of the new club. New tables and chairs, new big screen, new bar, new kitchen are just some of the changes to look forward to.

This will mean some disruption over the next six months to how the club operates. We will have a food truck here on Thursday nights and on game days along with bbqs for our food offering. The bar will run out of the club bar (smaller room) and from mobile units set up on game day.

We also have a new point of sale system that has been installed and will be operational from the 18th of June when we open at 5pm. This point of sale system will work on your membership details. As a member of Palmyra Rugby Club you will be sent a QR code to have on your phone to put through a sale of alcohol. Our Club license means that members only (or guests of members) can drink at Tompkins Park. We are working to ensure that our members register is complete. This QR code will help to ensure that your club is making the profits from your beverage purchase.
