James Stafford Joins The Steelmen

Parkgate Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of the former Emley and Penistone Church defender James Stafford.

Stafford has captained both Penistone and Emley in the NCEL in recent years and offers a great amount of leadership to a fairly young Parkgate squad.

Manager Andy Dawson showed his delight as Stafford signed on the dotted line earlier in the week, "Staff (Stafford) has already shown in the friendly against Worksop Town and in training that he is a well accomplished centre-half and a massive aerial threat from set-pieces. It's nice to see the lads have welcomed him into squad and affectionally nicknamed him 'ladders'."
