Opposition View…..
After seeing his side surrender a comfortable two-nil half time lead to a thundering Parkgate comeback at Green Lane yesterday, the opposing boss was dumbfounded by his side’s second half capitulation, writes Colin Muncie.
After Parkgate’s 3-2 win on Saturday, Bridlington Town Manager Curtis Woodhouse said that he had no explanation for what happened. “I'm really frustrated at our second half performance because in the first half we were outstanding and controlled the game- and to only be 2-0 up didn't do us justice. Then in the second half we fell apart and there's absolutely no reason for it”.
Curtis felt that his players should have been streetwise enough to capitalise on their fine first- half showing. “We have enough experience to manage that situation better and I don't expect this group of players to collapse like we did”.
“We must learn from today -and use it as a lesson going forward”.
