Parkgate host Hall Road Rangers in match day 5 after 2 wins and 2 defeats.

The Steelmen have their first midweek home match of the season as they look to bounce back from two defeats in a row.

The visitors, Hall Road Rangers, have had season opening results similar to those of Parkgate. They opened the season with a 3-2 defeat at home to Swallownest. They followed up this with a 3-2 win away at Ollerton Town. They’ll be coming to Roundwood on Wednesday full of confidence after a big 9-0 win at home against East Hull on Saturday.

Our boys, however, are looking to improve after a disappointing 5-1 defeat last time out. It was a game that saw Parkgate, who were hindered by injuries, have lots of chances but failure to convert saw us punished by Worsbrough Bridge.

Injuries are likely to play a factor on Andy Dawson and his staffs squad choice. Haydn Ward will be out due to an ankle injury sustained against North Ferriby last week. First choice keeper, Chris Butt, is also a doubt due to the injury that’s kept him out the last two games.
