The team completed their planned pre-season friendlies with a 2-3 victory against a talented well organised Meridian team today.

Both set of players had the heat to contend with and took the sensible precaution of planned drink stops, throughout the game.

Our players despite the heat, did try and play football and build on the performances in the last two matches. Zoe Counter opened the scoring and Corrie Goodhew scored twice to secure the victory.

We would like to thank Don and his team, for inviting us down to the Victory Academy and for the hospitality afterwards. We would also like to wish Meridian LFC all the best for the coming season.
