The new season is back today

By Pitchside View

AFTER a three month break, league football is back at the Sports Park today.

Peacehaven & Telscombe take on league new boys Alfold in a 3pm kick-off. Alfold were promoted as champions from division one last season and they will be keen to get their season off to a flying start.

The home side meanwhile will be hoping they can recapture their excellent late season form which saw them lift the RUR Cup on that memorable May afternoon at Lancing when they defeated Haywards Heath 3-0.

The game kicks-off at 3pm. Entry is £7 for adults and £5 for over 65s. Under 18s get in for free. The clubhouse and snack bar will be open.

Get on the FA Cup Bus
Peacehaven & Telscombe begin their quest for FA Cup glory on Sunday August 11. They are away to Erith & Belvedere from the Southern Counties East Premier league.

The game was originally scheduled for the previous day but because they ground share with National League side Welling Utd, the game has had to be moved back by one day.

An official coach is being organised by the club to go to the game and it will cost £15 for adults and £10 for children. It will leave the club's Piddinghoe Avenue car park at 10.45am.

To reserve your place on the Cup Bus, call Sue Norwood on 07946 107041. You will need to pay for your coach seats at the Alfold game on Saturday.

Season tickets are still available
Season tickets cost £90 for adults and for over 65s the price is £60.

Season tickets represent a brilliant investment and give you entry to all 19 home league games which if you are a full paying adult paying on a game by game basis the annual cost would be £133. Plus your season ticket also includes entry to all the club’s home under 23 games.

You can collect and pay for your season ticket from the clubhouse at the first home league game against Alfold.
