2. Southwark Borough FC 2009-11


November 2009 saw the club submit its application to the London Football Association to gain FA Charter Standard Community Club status as well as Intermediate status. In June 2009 Bryan Hall again decided that the club should compete in senior Saturday football, however Bryan wanted players from throughout Southwark be given the opportunity to represent the new club and not just be linked to Peckham Town.

Don Walters who was already a member of Peckham Town FC and Lee Lang who was the manager of Caribb FC who are a local Sunday club to come on board as the new team’s secretary. In July 09 Southwark Borough FC played its inaugural game against Canning Town FC winning the game 6 - 2.

The adventure was short-lived, and the club left the borough. Focus returned to Peckham Town.
