And just like that we are back to league rugby, after a quiet preseason game wise we are ready and raring to go for what stands to be a tough and challenging season ahead as the First team move up a league into Merit Division 2 and we continue to build on last season in fielding 2 sides on a more regular basis.

The season got under way last week as we travelled away in our first league game against a strong Harlow 3's team, whilst the 2nd team hosted Old Cooperians 2's.
The 1st team result was in our favour with the team executing the game plan that we have worked hard on all off season running out winners 36-7.
The second team although displaying some spirited rugby and passion came off second best with Old Cooperians coming away with a 46-15 win.

Looking ahead next week 1s travel away to Eton Manor 3's for what is sure to be another challenging test for the team.
