It was another poor start for Penarth’s 1st XI in Gameweek 7 against local rivals Whitchurch, as they found themselves 3-0 down at half time. Despite a pair of goals from Jake Connolly and David Joyce in the second half, the Bears went down 7-2 after picking up some untimely injuries late on. An important few weeks await Penarth as they take on three teams on a similar points total to them in successive weeks.
