Challenging Season Awaits 2s

This season is going to be an extremely busy one for the Seconds with the expansion of our division and the consequent increase in fixtures, it is also going to be a MOMENTOUS one for The Club when, hopefully, after 25 years we finally return to play in Penarth.

I am asking, therefore, for, not only the same level of commitment you showed last year, but even more as I believe the prospects for success with the group of players we have is enormous.

This level of commitment starts with, if at all possible, attending training on Wednesday nights at Barry 7-8 for Seniors, where we can take time to work on those areas of the game we all know we should, and can improve on. I know many of you have other commitments and I fully understand that, your commitment to the Club and the 2nd XI is demonstrable in many other ways.

No Shakespearean "Once More Into The Breach" appeals but a sincere request that we ALL do our bit to make this Season the success for the Seconds and The Club, it surely deserves to be.
