Dan is an experienced Northern League 'keeper having played for Ashington and Dunston amongst a host of club's.
Manager Andy Coyles is extremely happy to have secured Staples who goes straight into the squad for Saturday's FA Vase tie at Frenchfield Park against Guisborough Town.
