Cup action this Saturday as seen host Gosforth Bohemians in the quarter final of the Bill Gardner cup - please note, kick off is at the earlier time of 1:30. The game will be settled on the day.

Whoever comes out on top, will be at home to either Newcastle Chemfica or Newcastle East End, in the semi final, on February 22nd.

The other ties to be played in the competition are Red Row Welfare v Winlaton Vulcans and Blyth Town host Newcastle Blue Star.

We last faced Bohemians, 5 seasons ago during our successful promotion and championship winning campaign Alliance first division campaign. Percy Main won 4-1 in the away tie on October 14th 2014, thanks to goals from Micky Haley, Joe Betts and Chris Laidlaw (2) and drew 1-1 at home at the end of the season, prior to being presented with the championship trophy. Dan Sneap got our goal, Andrew Dalton netted for the visitors.

On the transfer front, it's welcome back to Jack Armstrong who has rejoined The Main following a spell at Blyth Spartans Reserves, Jack will strengthen the squad for the second half of the season, no end and he is eligible for selection on Saturday.
