We would like to extend a warm welcome to coaches Dean Kelbrick, Graeme Blackhall and the players from Hillhead/Jordan hill to the North Inch today. Today’s game pits a relatively new club (founded in 1988) HJRFC against one of Scotland’s oldest (founded in 1868) Perthshire are well advanced in the celebrations of their 150th birthday year. Let’s hope that the game today will be keenly contested and enjoyable to all . We also extend a special thanks to today’s match sponsor the GS Group, your continued support for the club is much appreciated and we hope you have an enjoyable day with us.
PRFC are holding their annual Burn’s Supper tonight in the Loft , 6.30 pm for 7pm start(includes Loft entry), tickets are available from Ewan MacKessack- Leitch or Callum Croughan. Thanks to Ali Anderson on bagpipes, Isle of Arran Distillery for providing the Toasting Whisky and to all other contributors to the event.
We warmly welcome home and opposition supporters to our Club House bar (sign posted in the Sports Centre) for a post-match drink.
Thanks also to the P4 players and parent for providing pitch side support for this game.
Finally congratulations to Perthshire Midi teams who have begun their Caledonia Cup campaign with 3 wins from 3 in the Midland Pool Stages Round 1.
Which ties in with the mission statement of the club that we strive for a club that Perthshire is proud of, a club where players of all abilities and ages strive to be the best in a supporting and encouraging environment. A club that integrates with the community, in short We’re Your Club’!
