With the lower division being split into three sections, North, Central & South, Pinxton FC's newly formed development side will cross paths with some experienced sides throughout the season, after being pitted in the Central league against the likes of Holbrook St Michael's FC Res, Cromford & Wirksworth Town FC, & Wirksworth Ivanhoe FC (who are both pre-season fixtures for the side).
As the first team, South Normanton Reserves have followed into the league, adding to the local rivalry between the sides.
The makeup of the side will mainly be last seasons Pinxton FC Under 18s, who played a year above their age last season which would have only stood them in good stead.
The transition into adult football however will be something different, and will come quickly for the side from the get go. They are currently training and 'mixing it' well with the First Team during the sessions, and with their style of football that the lads are more than capable of playing, the club are excited to see the progression throughout the season.
