As well as undertaking the new head coach role at Ponteland, Paul Gerrard has recently completed the Hamburg Ironman on the 28th July.


In the hope to raise donations for the Langley Foundation, an organization which aims to improve the access to the amazing education that Durham School offers for young people in the local North East area to those who might not otherwise be able to access it.
Alongside seven others, Paul underwent intense training before taking on the gargantuan challenge. While taking him a grueling 14 hours and 27 minutes to complete, Paul tackled the same three components that make up a tri-athlon but on a much larger scale:
Swim – 2.4 Miles
Cycle – 114 Miles
Run – 26.2 Miles
