Following a promising pre-season and some grueling training sessions, proper football finally gets under way tomorrow with the visit of Ansty Sports & Social Club.

The fixture not only welcomes the start of the new season, but also marks the first competitive game at Southwick FC, following the clubs move from long term home, Victoria Rec, over the summer.

We urge as many of you as possible to come along and cheer on the team as they attempt to put a couple of hard seasons behind them, the introduction of a number of new faces has breathed some extra life into the club and optimism is high for the coming campaign....With a fully stocked bar right on site what better excuse do you need to give up a couple of hours of your afternoon.....

So, best of luck to all the squad and especially to Jack Larkham, the club stalwart taking charge of his first fixture for the club, he assures me the first round is on him should his team bring home all three points!
