Defender, Charlie Raglan, believes that his side have enough to avoid relegation out of the football league.

Raglan, re-joined The Valiants on-loan during the January transfer window from League One side Oxford United after coming through the youth ranks during the early stages of his career.

Speaking to the local media ahead of tomorrow’s bout with Exeter City, the 24-year old has praised his teammates for the manner in which they have come from behind to get a result in their last two fixtures.

“We’ve come from behind in the last two games. Against Barnet, we played well and in stages we worked really hard,” he said.

“It’s always a positive to comeback, on the flip side, against Grimsby we thought we did enough to win the game but have to take the positive of not losing it.”

With Vale hosting play-off chasing Exeter City tomorrow night, Raglan hopes that his side can bring a positive performance in front of the home crowd.

He said: “For me, it’s all about tomorrow night.

“It is as well for all the lads, if we get the result that we’re crying out for then it will be massive.

“Exeter offer something different compared to the other sides in the league, I’ve encountered that they like to play nice football, but it doesn’t change much for us as we just have to concentrate on our own jobs.”
